The Patea river flows off the slopes of Mt Taranaki and winds its way through Stratford and central Taranaki to the Coast. Stratford is bisected by this river around which our town began back in 1877. The water we use in our beer is sourced from the Patea river, so we thought it was only fair that we named a beer in honour of the river which delivers us our main ingredient. Crisp, clear and refreshing, our take on a traditional Pilsner. Cheers Patea!
